The Leisure Guide is produced by the City of Thompson,Department of Recreation,Parks and Culture three times per year (5400 copies). It is distributed to all households in the City of Thompson and is available at the Recreation, Parks & Culture office, Norplex Pool, Thompson Public Library and all civic offices. Copies will be sent to various centres and distributed to hotels and businesses on a per request basis.

Thompson Zoo
The Thompson Zoo is a fun filled animal adventure.
Located on the recreation grounds. The winter hours are Monday –Sunday 12:00 noon – 4:30pm free admission.

Heritage North Museum
There are two buildings filled with exhibits for your viewing pleasure as well as several Spirit Way Wolves and paths to both the Millennium Trail and Spirit Way.
Museum tours are also available in the Summer.
